2 Non- Locals shot at, injured in Nowgam Srinagar

Srinagar, April 22: Unknown gunmen suspected to be militants fired upon two non-locals in Nowgam area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday evening.

A top police officer said that two non-local labourers were fired upon by militants this evening at Srinagar-Budgam- Pulwama Border.

Both have been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

“(militants) fired upon two outside labourers in Nowgam area, outskirts of Srinagar City. Both of them have been shifted to hospital. Area cordoned off, search going on,” police said in a tweet.
