On Wednesday morning, some people who had come for a stroll in Badamwari park were offered a cup of Kehwah (a traditional Kashmiri tea flavoured with cardamom and infused with cloves, cinnamon and saffron) for unity and brotherhood.
“Every year we organize this (Kehwah party) on the advent of spring and invite everyone to spread message of unity and brotherhood,” said Abdul Hameed, member of north cliff sports, who was serving Kehwah to people in the park known for the early bloom of almond flowers.
The park is situated at the foothills of Hari Parbat, which gives an immense look especially during early spring.
