One Person Dies, Several Others Injured In Bus Accident In Rajouri

Jammu, Mar 28: One person died and several others were injured when a mini bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Lam area of Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.

They said that mini bus (JK11- 9521), while on its way to Nowshera from Pukharni, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Lam. Around 40-50 persons were on board the bus when the accident took place and many of them suffered injuries, they said. One among the injured person identified as Lal Hussain of Lam later succumbed to injuries. A police officer said that a case has been registered.
