5.2 intensity earthquake hits Ladakh, no damage reported

Srinagar, March 16: An earthquake of mild intensity shook Ladakh region on Wednesday evening, an official said.
The earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred at 1705 hours (7:05 p.m.), local meteorological department official here said while quoting National Centre for Seismology.
He that the earthquake had a depth of 110 km, a longitude of 75.18 east and latitude 36.01 north .
Official sources said that while there were no reports of any damage so far, it caused panic among the people.
