Jammu & Kashmir Reports 104 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 1 Death

Srinagar, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir reported 104 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours while one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.
They said 85 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 19 from Kashmir Division, taking the overall tally to 452410.
Giving district wise details, the officials said, Srinagar reported 12 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 0, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 13, Udhampur 12, Rajouri 2, Doda 29, Kathua 3, Samba 1, Kishtwar 24, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.
There was one death from Kashmir in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4747 persons have succumbed to the virus—2324 in Jammu and 2423 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, 360 Covid-19 patients—173 from Jammu and 187 from Valley— recovered during the time. So far 445971 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 1692— 942 in Jammu and 750 in Kashmir.
They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 19691 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
