Srinagar, Feb 18; An 8-year-old girl drowned in a rivulet in Tekipora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

Official sources said that the girl Saniya daughter of S. Bhat drowned in nalla at her native village of Tekipora area. The locals retrieved her in unconscious condition and immediately shifted her to Sub District Hospital Sogam where doctors declared her brought dead.
