People have hailed efforts by police in nabbing and bringing criminals to justice giving a ‘sigh of relief’ to many.

“Such people have been creating trouble for others, disturbing lives. It’s a welcome step by police to book such criminals,” locals said, while hailing police actions.

An official said that Police station Parimpora executed one PSA Order no DMS/PSA/22/112. Dated.25.1.22 in respect of Abdul Hamid Danga @ jaga launcher s/o Ghulam Mohammad Danga R/o Friends colony HMT Srinagar.

“He had been sent to Central jail Srinagar for detention,” official said, adding that the person has five FIR’s that name him.

Official told INS that the arrested person is a notorious criminal and has been intimidating people.

“No one will be allowed to disturb people’s lives and such criminals will face law. People need to report to police and help us in nabbing such criminals, ” an official said, urging people to ‘keep an eye on their children that they must not fall prey to company of people who play with their lives’.
