Srinagar, Jan 30: Five militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-i-Toiba were killed in overnight gunfights in Pulwama and Budgam districts, police said on Sunday.

“05 militants of LeT and JeM killed in dual encounters in last 12 hours. JeM commander militant Zahid Wani and a Pakistani militant were among the killed. Big success for us,” IGP Kashmir said in a tweet.

He said Zahid Wani and the Pakistani militant— Kafeel alias Chotu were killed along with another militant in Pulwama while two LeT militants were killed in Charar-i-Shareef area of Budgam.
