Jammu: “Kashmir has rightly given reply to those who were claiming that if exploratory & discriminative constitutional provisions were removed from J&K, there will be nobody to unfurl tricolor here. Now Tiranga is slowly becoming the Culture in J&K,” said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi after unfurling the national flag at Sidhra in Jammu tawi today. Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs & BJP National Executive Member Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that it was great to see India progressing in Modi-regime like never before & emerging as a significant World Power. “Keeping pace with the National development index, J&K is for the first time ever treading the path of ‘self-reliance’ under the present government led by Lt Governor. Peace, progress & development are the headings of J&K growth story,” said Darakhshan. She said that on one hand when the people of the country participate in the celebrations of Republic Day, we have many political parties who otherwise go on a rant on the spirit of constitution on TV debates are seen nowhere celebrating our national events. Such hypocrites within J&K and all over the country are now facing huge resistance at the hands of the country. “Patriotism is the driving force of any country & when the people have seen nationalists like BJP ruling the country, all other politicians who compromise national security & national welfare for vote banks have a bleak future in India,” said the BJP leader. She said that J&K has come out of the sentimentalist & exploiting politics of dynasts and now the national flag unfurls in the hearts of the majority of the people. She said that now Kashmir youth are free to unfurl the national flag anywhere, while earlier restrictions on such moves from respective governments was a routine. “During past one year, historical initiatives have been taken by the J&K government & the central government led by Prime Minister Shri Modi Ji to free J&K of corruption, land grabbing, violence mafia & gifting this blessed land the right to development & peace after seven decades,” said Darakhan Andrabi. She said that we were fortunate to have been born in India as this is the only country on the globe which treats whole humanity as a family without any discrimination. Dr Andrabi distributed sweets among the security personnel after the event.
