No appointment order issued for Watchers: Department of Wildlife Protection, J&K

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 12: The Department of Wildlife Protection, J&K today made it clear that the department has not issued any appointment order for Watchers and a fake appointment order is currently under circulation in the Social Media.

As per a statement issued here, it has been informed that a fake appointment order is currently under circulation in the Social Media where under it has been shown that several persons have been appointed as Watchers in the Department of Wildlife Protection, J&K in Kashmir Region, whereas no such order or related correspondence has been issued by the Government or any Officer of this Department.

It was given out that preparation and circulation of such fake order and correspondence is a criminal offense and the matter has been taken up with Crime Branch, J&K Police for investigation and legal action against mischievous persons involved in this act shall be initiated.

The directions have also been passed on to the sub-ordinate offices of this Department not to entertain this order and related correspondence, the statement read.

Meanwhile, the public in general is being informed to be aware of this criminal act of mischievous persons and anybody having any information about any mischievous person involved in this act may inform this Department on email: [email protected],  [email protected] and/ or can inform on Mobile No: 9419002529 through call or message or Whatsapp.
