Public servants to declare assets, details of movable property, rule amendment notice issued

Srinagar: Government on Tuesday issued notice, of amendments made in the Jammu and Kashmir Public Servants Declaration of Assets and other Provisions Rules.
The notice said that during the year 1st to 31 January of the next calendar year, the public servants will have to submit annual return through online mode.

Read the notice:

 

“… in respect of all assets posessed by him or by his family members which shall include assets in respect of movable property, the value of which exceeds his two months basic salary in each case, giving full particulars regarding:
A: Cash Balance, saving bank deposits, shares certificate, fixed deposit, debenture, fixed bond
B: Jewellery, Ornaments and
C: household items (Electric and electronic items)

The order also read that Public servants will now have to inform authorities of acquisition or transfer of movable property as well.
