Srinagar, Jan 1: Police on Saturday said that a militant was killed in a brief shootout with government forces along LoC in Jumagund area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

“One unidentified militant killed in an encounter at Jumagund area of Kupwara. Army & Police are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Police Zone wrote on their official Twitter handle.
