Srinagar, Dec 31: A policeman was injured as encounter breaks out between militants and security forces in Gomander Mohalla Panthachowk of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

A senior police officer sajd that Police had gone there to pick a suspect. As Police team tried to enter the house, a heavy volume of firing came from inside during which one policeman was injured.

As per the sources one or two militants are believed to be trapped inside.
