Srinagar, December 31: Three militants were killed while three policemen and a CRPF trooper were injured in a gunfight in Gomander Mohalla Panthachowk of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

A senior police officer saic that Police had gone there to pick a suspect. As Police team tried to enter the house, a heavy volume of firing came from inside during which two policemen were injured.

“In the initial exchange of fire, 03 Police personnel & 01 CRPF personnel got injured & were subsequently shifted to hospital,” adding, ” three militants killed.”
