Srinagar: Raj Bhawan officers and staff observed silence for 2 minutes’ in the memory of CDS Gn.Bipin Rawat.

Gn Rawat lost his life along with his wife and other personnel in a chopper crash accident in Nilgiri hills yesterday.

“Deeply pained by the tragic demise of Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife, & 11 other Armed Forces Personnel in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. The nation has lost one of its bravest sons. My thoughts and prayers are with bereaved families in this hour of grief, ” Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said.
