Srinagar, Dec 1 :  A top commander of Jash-e-Mohammad, who according to police was an IED expert, was killed along with a “foreign” militant in an encounter with joint team of police, army and CRPF in Pulwama district.

“(Militant) commander of JeM Yasir Parray, an IED Expert, and a foreign (militant) Furqan neutralised. Both were involved in several cases. A big success: IGP Kashmir,” police said in a tweet.

Earlier, the police said the encounter ensued at Qasbayar area of Pulwama after the area was cordoned off following specific information by Police and security forces.
