Jammu, Nov 30: A soldier on Tuesday allegedly shot dead himself with his service rifle in Banihal area of Ramban district, officials said.
They said the soldier shoot himself dead in Chamalwas army camp of Banihal. While it was no immediately known as to what led the soldier to take the extreme step, a police officer said that inquest proceeding have been initiated.
