Ramsoo: Two persons including a baby were killed in an accident at Magarkote on Srinagar Jammu highway on Sunday.

Officials told INS that one truck bearing no: hp 38f 6278 while coming from jammu to Srinagar rammed four light vehicles.

Officials told INS that a truck bearing no HP38F/6278 was driving from Jammu to Kashmir in a rash & negligent manner, when reached magarkot, hit a tempo noJk01w/3416 , an Alto no Jk13E/8524 , a Qualis noJk0G/6723 & a sumo noJk19/1270. In this accident 02 persons died & 08 persons got injured. The driver of the said truck is on run and special team under the supervision of SDPO Banihal have been created to nab the culprit.

Persons who died on spot were identified as:
1: Jatinder Singh s/o Arjeet Singh r/o Tral kulgam age 35 yrs.
2: Nardeep Lour D/o Jatinder Singh r/ o Tral kulgam age 04 yrs

Details of the injured persons are:

1) Ranveer kour w/o Jatinder Singh r/o Tral kulgam
2) Jaswinder Singh s/o Shami Singh r/o unna HP
3) Bhagwan Dass s/o Ravela r/o Halwagan teh Ramsoo
4) Waseem Ahmad s/o Samiulla r/o Pattan Baramulla
5) Taj din s/o Noor Din r/o Ameernagar Doda
6) Rafiya Bano d/o Noor Din r/o Ameernagar Doda.
7)Mohd Ashraf s/o Mohd Latief R/o Noorabad Doda
8) Shamima Bano w/o Mohd Ashraf R/ o Noorabad Doda.

The injured have been referred to SDH Banihal & other persons are under treatment at PHC Ramsoo.
Soon after the accident, District police Ramsoo team led by SHO Ramsoo, civilians,.QRT reached the spot to evacuate the injured.
