J&K Reports 95 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Nov 4: Jammu and Kashmir reported 95 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

Among the fresh cases, 14 were reported from Jammu Division and 81 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 332651.

There was no fresh fatality due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4438—2176 in Jammu and 2262 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 35 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 13, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 8, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 2, Kathua 3, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (76) (NA) from Buchpora Sgr, male (07) (NA) from Rajbagh Sgr, female (67) (NA) from Rajbagh Sgr, female (25) (NA) from Peerbagh, male (80) (NA) from Kunzer, female (75) (NA) from Sopore, female (70) (NA) from Beerwah Budgam, female (67) (NA) from Bemina Sgr and male (80) (NA) from Hyderpora.

Moreover, 60 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, five from Jammu Division and 55 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 327232 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 981—121 in Jammu and 860 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 52,824 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
