Jammu and Kashmir Reports 90 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir reported 90 new covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.

Among the fresh cases, seven were reported from Jammu Division and 83 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 332053.

There was no death due to the virus during the time. So far 4432—2176 in Jammu and 2256 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 48 cases, Baramulla 13,Budgam 11, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 2, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 4, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and

Reasi 0.

Moreover, 81 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 12 from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 326749 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 872—108 in Jammu and 764 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 68169 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
