J&K Reports 51 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Oct 15 : Jammu and Kashmir reported 51 new covid-19 cases even as there was no death during the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.
Four among these cases were reported from Jammu division and 47 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 330885. There was no death due to the virus. So far 4426—2174 in Jammu and 2252 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.
Giving district wise details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 27 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 5, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 3, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 1, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of the cases were confirmed at the CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (55) from Eidgah Srg, male (62) from Hyderpora Srg, female (31) from Amdakadal, male (51) from Botakadal, female (45) from Naqashpora, male (12) from Narwara, male (21) and female (45) from Bemina, male (40) and female (70) from Batwara, female (32) from Eidgah, male (47) from Ganderbal.
Moreover, the officials said that 91 more patients have recovered—21 from Jammu Division and 70 from Kashmir. So far 325564 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 895 —194 in Jammu and 701 in Kashmir.
They said there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 48 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
The government also informed that 76746 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
