2 Covid-19 Deaths, 127 New Cases Reported in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 6: Jammu and Kashmir reported 127 fresh covid-19 cases even as two persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
54 of these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 330118.
There were two deaths, both from Kashmir, due to the virus. So far 4426—2174 in Jammu and 2252 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.
Giving district wise details, the officials said,Srinagar 44, Baramulla 8 Budgam 7, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 5, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 38, Ramban 0 and Reasi 4.
Moreover, the officials said that 134 more patients have recovered—22 from Jammu Division and 112 from Kashmir. So far 324627 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1065—279 in Jammu and 786 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
