102 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death Reported In J&K

Srinagar, Oct 5: Jammu and Kashmir reported 102 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

29 of these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 329991.

There was no death due to the virus. So far 4424—2174 in Jammu and 2250 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, they said,Srinagar 41, Baramulla 9, Budgam 7, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 8, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 6, Doda 1, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 9, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

A number of cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic hospital and include female (65) (NA) from HMT Sgr, Male (75) (NA) from Zainkote, Male (27) (NA) from HMT Sgr, Male (42) (NA) from Sopore, female (54) (NA) from Safakadal, Female (45) (NA) from Babdem, Female (40) (NA) from Dalgate, male (06) from Sangerwani Pulwama, female (11) (NA) from Panzgam Pulwama, Male (30) (NA) from Nishat Sgr, male (23) (NA) from Nishat Sgr, male (38) (NA) from Bemina Sgr, male (70) from Baghat barzulla, Female (84) (NA) from Rawalpora Sgr, male (30) (NA) from Pattan, Male (70) (NA) from Natipora, female (45) (NA) from Nigeen, male (60) (NA) from Dargah, female (14) (NA) from Lalbazar, female (48) (NA) from Lalbazar, male (75) (NA) from Lalbazar, male (37) (NA) from Batpora, male (55) from Budgam and female (55) from Maisuma.

Moreover, they said, 185 more patients have recovered—46 from Jammu Division and 139 from Kashmir. So far 324493 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1074—247 in Jammu and 827 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
