AK-47 Rifle, Night Device Dropped Via ‘Drone’ Recovered in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 3: Police on Sunday said that an Ak-47, one night device and some ammunition, “dropped through a drone” was recovered at Phallian Mandal in Jammu last night, officials said.

“One AK 47, 1 night device, 3 magazines and ammunition recovered at Phallian Mandal last night. Dropped by a drone as is evident from the packing and thread,” police said in a tweet . “Jammu Police is looking for possible receivers in the area. Search is going on.” The police however did not specify why the “drone” was not detected amid claims of greater surveillance of unmanned vehicle activities.
