Kupwara:  Two residential houses were gutted in an overnight blaze at Zurhama village of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, rendering three families homeless, locals said.

 

Locals said that two residential houses were gutted in an overnight blaze, in which three families were residing.

 

The houses belonged to Asif Lone and Ikhlak Lone of Keran sector, who had recently moved to Zurhama village, while the third owner was identified as Majeed Raina.

Meanwhile, locals appealed to the authorities to provide the affected owners with timely compensation so that they can resume their normal life.
