Jammu, Sep 25: Two persons were killed and two children were injured when a light motor vehicle they were travelling in rolled down into a nallah (rivulet) on Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district on Saturday evening.
Official sources said the LMV  rolled down near Digdol, resulting in on the spot death of two persons and injuries to two children who were shifted to District Hospital hospital Ramban.
One of the deceased persons has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Qadri (40) son of Ghulam Rasool of Batpura Khanabal Anantnag while identity of the other, a girl, was being ascertained, they said.
Two children have been identified as Mohsin Ahmed (5) son of Imtiyaz Ahmed Qadri and Anayat Ahmed (10) son of Mohammad Iqbal Qadri.
“The search and rescue operations are still underway and more details would follow,” a police officials said.
