143 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 1 Death Reported In J&K

Srinagar, Sept 25: Jammu and Kashmir reported 143 new covid-19 cases while one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
35 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 108 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case count to 328881. There was one death due to the virus, from Jammu division, during the time, taking fatality count to 4421—2173 in Jammu and 2248 in Kashmir.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 52 cases, Baramulla 17, Budgam 14, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 7, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 11, Doda 8, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 3, Ramban 0and Reasi 3.
A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory.
The CD cases include female (74) from Bandipora, female (23) from Gojwara, male (54) from Gow Kadal, female (38) from Bemina, female (29) from Soura, female (48) from Baghwanpora, male (14) and female (10) from Padgampora, female (45) from Zarihar, female (NA) from Gawkadal, female (67) from HMT Srg, male (27) from Baba Pora Srg, male (62) from Srinagar, male (50) from Lassipora Pul, female (40) from Padgampora, male (25) from Namlabal Pampore, two males (70, 35) and female (65) from Frestbal Pampore, male (70) from Wuyan, female (30) from Panthachowk, male (60) from Namlabal Pampore, female (25) from Awantipora, male (28) from Magam, female (48) and male (51) from Alijan Road, male (12) from Khonmoh Srg, male (53) and four females (50, 21, 17, 19) from Lal Bazar, female (30) from Sada Kadal, female (30) from Alastang, female (62) and male (16) from Naseembagh, female (24) from Kashmir University, NA (13) from Kanitar and male (38) from Zakura.
Moreover, the officials that 153 more patients have recovered—31 from Jammu Division and 153 from Kashmir. So far 322897 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1563—256 in Jammu and 1307 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
