148 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 1 Death Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 24: Jammu and Kashmir reported 148 new covid-19 cases while one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.
28 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 120 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case count to 328738. There was one death due to the virus, from Kashmir, during the time, taking the fatality count to 4420—2172 in Jammu and 2248 in Kashmir.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 66 cases, Baramulla 17, Budgam 8, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 9, Kulgam 1, Shopian 1, Jammu 6, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 6, Doda 10, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 2 and Reasi 4.
A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory.
The CD cases include female (30) from Sempora, male (64) from Noorbagh Srg, male (32) from Takipora Budgam, female (80) from Tral Pul, male (75) from Pattan Baramulla, female (28) from SDH, male (38) from Zakura, male (51) from Hazratbal, male (52) from Shalimar, male (48) from New Theed Harwan, male (38) from Awantabawan, male (17) from Ali Jan Road, female (30) from Harwan, two females (14, 22) from Baghwanpora, female (36) from Hawal, two males (25, 60) and female (75) from Lal Bazar, female (55) from Baghwanpora, female (23) and male (29) from Hawal, male (35) from Sopore, female (16) from Malaratta, male (38) from Bijbehara Ang, male (38) from Awantipora Pul, female (46) from SDH Hazratbal, two males (36, 80) from Shalimar Srg, female (21) from Kerala, male (13) and two females (40, 11) from Zakura Srg, female (62) and male (62) from Lal Bazar, two females (48, 21) and six males (57, 48, 62, 60, 42, 52) from NA, male (33) from Dalgate, male (50) from Pattan, female (40) from Kupwara, female (40) from Eidgah, female (50) from Chadoora, two males (30, 35) from Baramulla, female (52) from Pulwama, female (50) from Bandipora, NA (NA) from Batmaloo, two females (25, 30) from Bandipora, two females (26, 30) from Kupwara, female (26) from Anantnag.
Moreover, the officials said that 159 more patients have recovered—29 from Jammu Division and 130 from Kashmir. So far 322713 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1605—253 in Jammu and 1352 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
