“`Bandipora: A youth injured in a road accident in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district last evening died at SKIMS.

An official said that a motorcyclist met with an accident on Bandipora-Srinagar road near Petrol pump Nadihal resulting in injuries of Basit Ahmad (Padestarian) and driver Asgar Ahmad.

Both were immediately rushed to nearby hospital where from they were reffered to SKIMS Srinagar for specialized treatment.

However, Asgar Ahmad Bhat of Saderkoot Payeen died at SKIMS.

Police said that a case has been registered at police station Bandipora.“`
