Boy’s body found hanging from tree in Kupwara woods

Kupwara, Sept 12: Body of a 15-year-old boy was found hanging from a tree in a jungle adjacent to his home in Lolab area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, family and officials said.
Family of the boy, Danish Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Yousuf of Lalpora Lolab, said that he had left home late in the afternoon and repeated calls on his phone went unanswered. This morning, the family said that his body was found hanging from a tree. A police team later reached the spot and recovered the body. A police officer told GNS that a case has been registered and investigations have been taken up.
