J&K Reports 110 New Covid-19 Cases, No  Death

Srinagar, Sep 05: Jammu & Kashmir reported 110 new coronavirus cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.

27 of the new cases were reported from Jammu Division and 83 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 325940.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time. So far 4410—2166 in Jammu and 2244 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 57 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 13, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 3, Shopian 0, Jammu 5, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 2, Doda 6, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 2, Ramban 0 and Reasi 7.

Moreover, they said, 168 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—26 from Jammu Division and 142 from the valley. So far, 325940 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1322— 267 in Jammu and 1055 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 45 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
