Anantnag: Gunfight erupted between militants and government forces in Mirbazar area of Kulgam district on Thursday afternoon.

Initial reports said that the suspected militants had attacked CRPF camp in Malpora area. The attack turned into a gunfight.

Reports said that the area has been sealed and forces have launched the operation in the area.

Official version of the events is still awaited.
