Srinagar: Police has issued a clarification saying that there was no untoward incident in Sopore Chowk this morning.

Police said that the news regarding ‘firing incident at main chowk sopore is totally baseless as no such incident has taken place’.

“General public is requested to co-operate the police and not to heed towards rumour mongering,” Pikice said.
