J&K Bank opens 2 new ATMs in Jammu city

JAMMU, AUGUST 02: Jammu & Kashmir Bank today commissioned two more Automated Teller Machines here, one each at Channi Himmat and Sarwal.

With the two new teller machines, the total number of bank’s ATMs has reached 1388.

The Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director R K Chhibber inaugurated the ATM at Surya Chowk in Channi Himmat and another one at Sarwal in presence of Zonal Head Jammu Central 1 Shareesh Sharma, Vice President S&C Vibhakar Khajuria, Cluster Heads, Heads of adjacent Business Units and other officials of the bank besides a gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens and prominent locals.

Speaking on the occasion, CMD R K Chhibber said, “J&K Bank remains committed to provide best financial products and banking facilities to the people irrespective of their status and location”

“Keeping customer-convenience as our sustained focus, these two ATMs have been commissioned to fulfil the people’s demand and I hope people will benefit from these facilities as per their requirements.” he added.

Sarwal is a densely populated area, where the inhabitants had for long been demanding a banking touch-point for public convenience, while Channi Himmat has a large footfall of commuters and locals whose banking needs will be effectively met by the ATM.

Notably, J&K Bank remains committed to meet the people’s aspirations and expectations within the laid down guidelines.

Assuring their support to the bank, the valuable customers and prominent locals expressed their satisfaction with the services of the bank and thanked the CMD and his team for fulfilling their demand of extending such modern banking facilities right near their doorsteps.
