BDS Finds No Explosives From 4 Rice Cookers Abandoned On Gulmarg-Baramulla Road Near Magam

Srinagar, Aug 2: Four rice cookers wrapped in a bed-sheet were found in suspicious condition on Gulmarg-Baramulla road at Agri Kalan Magam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.

Official sources said that soon a bomb disposal squad was summoned to the area.

“Today morning 04 rice cookers were found at Agrikalan (Srinagar-Gulmarg roadside) in suspect circumstances,” police said in a statement issued later, adding, “The rice cookers were checked by Bomb Disposal Squad of Police Budgam but all the four rice cookers were found empty.”

Apparently, the police said, the rice cookers seem to be stolen property abandoned by thieves.
