Jammu and Kashmir Reports 84 Cases, One Death

Srinagar, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir reported 84 new cases of novel coronavirus while one more person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 320340 positive cases, 1513are Active Positive, 314454 have recovered and 4373 have died; 2138 in Jammu division and 2235 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 11233153 test results available, 10912813 samples have been tested as negative till today.
Till date 2722164 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 9243 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1513 in isolation and 348569 in home surveillance. Besides, 2358466 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 71089 positive cases (including 31 cases reported today) with 370 Active Positive, 69887 recovered (including 51 cases recovered today), 832 deaths; Baramulla has 23517 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 102 Active Positive, 23133 recovered (including 06 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 22828 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 78 active positive cases, 22546 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today), 204 deaths; Pulwama has 15120 positive cases (including 06 cases recovered today) with 70 Active Positive, 14856 recovered (including 16 cases recovered today)and 194deaths; Kupwara has 14027 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today), 52 Active Positive, 13810 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 165 deaths; Anantnag district has 16301 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 78 Active Positive, 16018 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today), 205 deaths; Bandipora has 9455 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today), with 66 Active Positive, 9289 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today), 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 9837 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 61 Active Positive, 9698 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today) and 78 deaths; Kulgam has 11217 positive cases with 15 Active Positive, 11085 recoveries (including 14 cases recovered today) and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5577 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today )with 08 active positive cases, 5511recoveriesand 58 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 52693 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 167 active positive cases, 51387 recoveries (including 26 cases recovered today), 1139 deaths; Udhampur has 11266 positive cases (including 01 cases recovered today), 29 active positive cases, 11102 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today) and 135 deaths; Rajouri has 10878 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) 68 active positive, 10585 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today) and 225 deaths; Doda has 7164 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 125 Active positive, 6915 recovered (including 01 cases recovered today) and 124 deaths; Kathua has 9257 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with 13 active positive cases, 9094 recovered and 150 deaths; Samba has 7119positive cases with 37 active positive cases, 6963 recoveries and 119 deaths; Kishtwar has 4609 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 49 Active Positive, 4517 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today) and 43 deaths; Poonch has 6241 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 59 active positive, 6088 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today) and 94 deaths; Ramban has 5944 positive cases with 33 active positive cases, 5845 recoveries and 66 deaths while Reasi has 6201 positive cases (including 02 cases recovered today)with 33 active positive cases, 6125recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today)and 43 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 320340 positive cases in J&K, 22776 have been reported as travelers while 297564 as others.
