J&K Premier League: Emmsons City Hunks, Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club Win

Srinagar: In the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League, two matches were played at Green Valley Educational Institute on Sunday.
The first match was played between Emmsons City Hunks Vs R.Co Tigers. Emmsons City Hunks won the toss and opted to field first. R.Co Tigers managed 191 runs in alloted 20 overs. Jiyaad Magrey (63 of 37 balls), Sarsheel (44 of 35 balls) were among the top scorers for R.Co Tigers. For Emmsons City Hunks Riyaz Najar claimed 4 wickets and Mudasir Gojree claimed 3 wickets. In reply Emmsons City Hunks chased the target in 19 overs. Abid Nabi (45 of 41 balls), Obaid Lone (35 of 25 balls) and Gulzar (28 of 10 balls) were highest run getters for Emmsons City Hunks. For R.Co Tigers Zahid Nabi claimed 2 wickets. Riyaz Najar for his outstanding bowling performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The second game was played between Birch Blasters Burzahama and Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. Batting first after winning the toss, Birch Blasters Burzahama scored 154 runs. Adil Reshi (47 of 32 balls) was among top run scorers for his team. For Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club Junaid Farooq took 4 wickets and Asif Bakshi took 3 wickets. In reply Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club scored the target in 20th over for the loss of 6 wickets. Amir Deen (38 of 21 balls) and Asim (30 of 39 balls) were the highest run scorers for their team. Rouf Bashir claimed 3 wickets for his team Birch Blasters Burzahama. Junaid Farooq for his outstanding bowling performance was given Man of the Match
