Lowest Daily Tally Of 774 Covid-19 Cases In 68 Days, 12 Deaths Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, June 13: Jammu and Kashmir reported 774 fresh covid-19 cases, lowest single-day infection tally in 68 days, even as 12 more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.
Among the fresh cases, 229 were from Jammu Division and 545 from Kashmir Division, taking the tally to 307412. It was after 68 days that J&K reported lesser single day infections tally than today as 561 cases were reported on April 6.
Regarding the COVID-19 deaths, they said, seven were reported from Jammu Division and five from Kashmir valley, taking the overall tally to 4186.
Moreover, they said, 1965 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—698 from Jammu Division and 1267 from Kashmir Valley. There are 15081 active cases—5546 in Jammu and 9535 in Kashmir.
