46 More Covid-19 Deaths, 2252 Fresh Cases In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, May 29: Jammu and Kashmir reported 2252 fresh covid-19 cases while 46 more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
They said 794 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu and 1459 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 286684.
Regarding the fatalities, they said, 30 were reported from Jammu division and 16 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total fatality count to 3841.
Providing district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 353 cases, Baramulla 162, Budgam 169, Pulwama 142, Kupwara 203, Anantnag 184, Bandipora 69, Ganderbal 52, Kulgam 91, Shopian 34, Jammu 343, Udhampur 60, Rajouri 60, Doda 54, Kathua 47, Samba 23, Kishtwar 32, Poonch 70, Ramban 66 and Reasi 39.
Also, 4334 patients have recovered—1898 from Jammu and 2436 from Kashmir, taking the number of those who recovered to 243588. There are 39255 active positive cases—15008 in Jammu and 24247 in Kashmir.
