Srinagar:  Police on Thursday registered a case for spreading fake news and clearified that no temple has been torched in Soura area of Srinagar.

In a tweet, Police said that,“FIR has been registered and legal action imitated against those spreading the fake news.”

Earlier, reports that a temple was set on fire at Soura area of Srinagar had gone viral on social media site.
