Srinagar: Administration at Chest Disease hospital on Thursday took prompt action to remove equipment for hospital from its corridors.

INS news had highlighted the official negligence that proper care of the equipment is not being done and the special Covid care hospital need to put them in proper place.

Dr Naveed Nazir shah, HOD, CD hospital quickly initiated the process.

Shah has become one of the faces, of fight against Covid-19 in valley.

INS raised the alarm that the equipment must have been taken care of due to second wave of the pandemic and rise in cases.

“The machinery is gathering dust in the corridor rather putting them by the beds,” eyewitnesses told INS.

Shah told INS that he had already asked the concerned to shift them to ward and will check it out.

Afterwards, Shah ordered the shifting of the machines.

Shah has been leading the fight against Covid-19 since it spread in the valley last year, and has been dealing with patients across valley.
