Kulgam: Police on Sunday claimed to have rescued the minor girl who was kidnapped. The accused in the case has also been arrested

The accused was identified by the complainant accusing him of kidnapping his daughter.

He has been identified as Aadil Akbar Bhat@Rahul S/O Mohd Akbar Bhat R/O Wazeerpora Bogund.

“Utilizing all available means, a specific information was generated by the investigating team, the said minor girl was rescued within 24 hours after the complaint was received in Police Station Kulgam and the kidnapper was arrested from Shalipora Kulgam,” police said.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
