Jammu bound Traffic on Highway Tomorrow

Srinagar, April 25: Authorities on Sunday said that traffic shall be allowed tomorrow from Srinagar towards Jammu on strategic highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with the outside world.

“(On April 26), subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.  TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic,” a traffic department statement.

Regarding HMVs/load carriers, authorities said that only stranded vehicles in Udhampur jurisdiction shall be allowed towards Srinagar.
