Prof Shafi is new Head of KU’s Commerce Department

 Srinagar, Apr 21: Prof Mohammad Shafi has taken over as Head of Kashmir University’s Department of Commerce.
An expert in International Business and Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Prof Shafi has around three decades of teaching, research and administrative experience.
Author of three books, 40 research papers published in international and national journals, Prof Shafi has supervised a dozen PhD and MPhil scholars.
Presently, Prof Shafi holds the charge of Director, Centre for Career Planning and Counseling (CCPC), which has inked several MoUs with top organisations while facilitating several successful student placement drives in different national and multinational companies.
Apart from being a visiting faculty to Carthage and Jendouba Universities in Tunis, he has been Head of the Department of Finance and Banking, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
