Srinagar, April 15: Nineteen police officers were transferred by government on Thursday in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
According to an order, Atul Kumar Goel (IPS), DIG, South Kashmir Range, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, against an available vacancy, relieving Vivek Gupta (IPS) of the addl charge.
Sujit Kumar (IPS), DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range, has been transferred and posted as DIG, North Kashmir Range, vice M. Suleman Choudhary (IPS).
