Srinagar, April 8: Two militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
“Operation is going on. Further details shall follow,” the police spokesman said.
Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Nowbugh Tral.
As the joint team approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering off the gunfight.
