Srinagar, Apr 07: Jammu-Srinagar highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with the rest of the world, shall be open for one-way traffic on Thursday.
“Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, LMVs (passenger) shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar highway,” a traffic department official said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Mughal road, which connects Shopian and Poonch districts, continues to remain closed due to snow accumulation, the official added.
