Minor girl killed, 8 persons injured in Rajouri accident

Jammu, March 26: A 12-year-old girl was killed and eight other persons were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down a slope in Rajouri district of Jammu division on Friday, officials said.
They said that the sumo (JK11-9709) was on way to Thanamandi to Alal when it met with an accident near Thanna Mandi Darra on PMGSY road. The vehicle rolled several meters down the slope.
One 12-year-old girl onboard it was killed on the spot while eight others were injured and later shifted to hospital, they said.
SDPO Thanamandi Sajid Khan confirmed the incident and said that case has been registered.
