Srinagar, March 26): Decomposed body of man, apparently in early 40s, was found in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday, officials said.

They said some passerby spotted the body near railway bridge at Zangam and informed the police station Pattan. A police team later took custody of the body and shifted it to hospital for postmortem, they said. The body seems a decomposed one and apparently the age of the deceased seems around 40, a police official said. He said that a case has been registered in this regard and further proceedings initiated.
