militant killed as gunfight rages in North Kashmir

Srinagar, March 09: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight at Tujjar area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Tujjar.
As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering off the gunfight.
